Double Seal Multiple Spring (DM1)
Double seals in the DM1 series have the same design-features as the "SW" family of single seals (easy-to replace seal faces, etc.). Apart from the installation length of the drive collar, all fitting dimensions (d < 80 mm) conform with DIN 24960.
Application range :
Dw: 18...80 mm.
Pressure: 16 bar.
Temperature range: -40oC ~=+200oC

Design Features
- Interchangeable seal face-all combinations of materials are possible
- Simplified storage of components.
- Integral stationary seat lock Integral stop in the rotating part prevents stationary seat from slipping axially and the mechanical seal from opening (with a carbon stationary seat there is a wearing height of up to 0.5 mm.)
- Limitation of spring movement prevents excessive face wear
- Torque transmission ensures full mobility and adaptation of the sealing surface even with small run-outs. |
